G Residence
Valle Verde, Pasig
Set within the exclusive enclave of Valle Verde in Pasig, this 300 sqm townhouse was given a new lease on life—transformed from a 40-year-old structure into a refined urban sanctuary for a millennial couple with a passion for natural stone and bespoke finishes.
The home was envisioned as a quiet canvas for material richness, with a neutral palette anchoring the interplay of textures: marble, granite, and wood blend seamlessly in a design language that is both understated and elevated. With close ties to a premium stone supply company, the clients sought to celebrate the materials they’ve long championed by integrating them into their personal space.
My scope focused on hard finishes, architectural lighting, and select furniture, with an emphasis on layered lighting—cove lights, sculptural pendants, and wall sconces—to accentuate depth and mood throughout the home. Every space, from the bedrooms to the entertainment room, kitchen, and mudroom, was reworked to support modern living while honoring the structure’s existing bones.
As with many renovations, the process called for flexibility and creative problem-solving, especially as hidden structural conditions emerged during construction. Design decisions had to remain fluid, balancing the client’s pre-existing selections with the integrity of a cohesive design narrative.
While styling and decor were handled separately for the shoot, the final result reflects a commitment to timeless design rooted in texture, tone, and natural materiality.
